Minisink Youth Soccer Recreation Program Information
2010
Minisink Youth Soccer has an intramural program dedicated by teaching the skills of soccer and to the enjoyment of the game by the children and adults.
General Club Meetings:
Held once a month throughout the calendar year. The latest location and time is announced on the MYS hotline (845)344-3575 and also on our website at www.minisinkyouthsoccer.com. All coaches and adult members are encouraged to attend.
Season:
The program starts September 11 2010 and runs on Saturdays for 8 weeks. Last week is October 30th with November 6th make up date if needed. Coaches will contact their players in August.
Fees:
1 player $95
2 players $150
3 players $190
4 or more per family is $200 total.
Refund Policy:
Full refund will be given up to May 30, 2010.
After May 30, 2010 there will be $30 deducted from original fee.
No refunds will be given after August 1, 2010.
Recreation age groups for Fall 2010:
Pee-Wee Born 8/1/04-12/05/05
Under 8 Born 8/1/02-7/31/04
Under 10 Born 8/1/00-7/31/02
Under 12 Born 8/1/98-7/31/00
Under 14/15 Born 8/1/95-7/31/98
Note: Players will be placed in their appropriate age divisions. There will be no exceptions due to Insurance Regulations. This is a league mandated rule. There will be no special requests honored this year. If you play Travel, please don;t register for recreation.
Safety and uniforms:
The official uniform consists of a team shirt, matching shorts, and black socks.
The team uniform maybe kept by the player when the season ends.
The goalie or keeper shirt is to be returned to the coach.
Shinguards are mandatory.
Shoes, soccer cleats, all sport shoes or turf shoes canbe worn. The cleats must NIT be metal! No jewelry is to be worn and glasses should have safety straps.
Uniform Sizing Information
Shorts: Shorts in Black only.. Specially designed to be ultra sheer and extremely light weight for maximum breathablity and perspiration reduction, comfort playability. 100% high-sheen "dazzle" tricot polyester, inside draw cord and 5.5"- 6" inseam, no liner.
Uniforms come as a kit which includes jersey,shorts and socks

Practice:
Practice days and times are at the discretion of the coach.
Children are encouraged to attend practice regularly. Parents should understand the value of see that their children attend scheduled practices. Each child who attends practice regularly must play 50% of each game. Coaches have the option of how much to play a player who misses practices.
Time periods & referees:
Pee-Wee 2-20 minute halves
Under 8 2-20 minute halves
Under 10 2-25 minute halves
Under 12 2-25 minute halves
Under 14/15 2-30 minute halves
Each age level will have a few minutes of a break between halves or quarters for water/refreshments. Paid referees will be obtained for the Under 10, 12 & 14/15 divisions.
Trophies:
Trophies will be awarded to every player at the end of the season.
Rules:
NO PETS ALLOWED.
No Foul or rude language.
